Adjusting for a level impression

Leveling the numbering head is the most critical part of the set up process:

First loose the head lock (screw 1):

Second: Use a 3 part carbonless set, stamp in one location anywhere on the sheet.

You can check the impression for pressure as well as levelness. by level we mean a level impression. where the impression of 1st digit is the same pressure and impression as the 5th and 6th digit always favoring the 1th digit slightly.

Screw 3 and 4, for the head parallel position :LEFT and RIGHT .

Screw 5 , for the front and back

If the impression is good, you can lock the screw 1.
